The GLIDECAM SMOOTH SHOOTER is a sophisticated body mounted Camera Stabilization System. The Glidecam allows the camera operator
to walk, run, go up and down stairs, shoot from moving vehicles and travel over uneven terrain without any camera instability
or shake.
The system works by isolating the operator's body motion while the camera is balanced in a relatively motionless and isolated
state. The Glidcam's support arm can be boomed up and down, as well as pivoted in and out, and side-to-side. It is the combined
booming and pivoting action of the support arm, which isolates motion from the camera in a way that creates smooth camera
footage.
The XL-1S is an affordable alternative to a full sized broadcast DV camera. The XL-1S is ideal for promotional DVD's, training
tapes, event DVD's and internet video. The Canon uses a three, 1/3inch chip design, recording high quality digital video
